ARCH contributed to a recent article in Stuff regarding the role of charity hospitals in NZ. The article featured one of our cataract patients 90-year old Noel Kendrick.
ARCH directors made two key comments in the article:
• While we acknowledge the public system is stretched to capacity there are areas that are under resourced
• ARCH believes the unmet need in the public system needs to be better measured and quantified
